He started with a few short stories for practice. This turned out to be a tactical error. It escalated into a novel. Soon an entire series had appeared and was making demands for new victims, detectives, and paperwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While his books are set in South Africa, readers should not mistake geography for exclusivity.
